ZOMBIE-AMERICAN BIOS

Star/Co-Writer Ed Helms
Ed Helms was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. After attending Oberlin College in scenic Ohio, Ed headed for New York City to pursue comedy. For years Ed worked in the comedy trenches as a stand-up comedian, eventually earning regular spots at NYC's top comedy clubs and an appearance on the Fall 2002 season of Comedy Central's Premium Blend. Television commercials have also factored heavily in Ed's career. In addition to numerous national voice-overs, Ed appeared opposite Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a 2002 Super Bowl spot for Budweiser. Ed has written and performed sketch comedy with numerous groups over the years and studied improvisation with The Upright Citizens Brigade. Ed can still be seen regularly performing at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC. In April of 2002, Ed joined the cast of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He also plays the banjo.
